Multicultural Ministry!

When John the revelator was taken up into heaven, he didn't see only one race or one kind of people, he saw a mixture of people (multicultural) that no man could number, and they stood before the throne, worshiping God almighty. For that reason it is our responsibility as believers not to limit ourselves as to who were going to win for God. Instead we should stand in the gap and touch the throne room of God with one hand while our other hand reaches out and touches a lost and dying world with the Good News of Acts 2:38, regardless of the language, culture or color of skin.

As a church we should not be confining ourselves to just one culture or one kind of people, but collectively we should be embracing, reaching and preaching the gospel to every creature. Jesus commands us to "Go into the world and preach the gospel to all the nations." I don't know if you've noticed but we don't have to "go" too far to fulfill that command. The United States of America is a unique country in the sense that we have received all people into our land and therefore it is our duty to "go" into the world; that means your school, your workplace, your neighborhood, ect, and reach as many nations and cultures as we possibly can.

We the Pentecostals of the Bay Area have endeavored to create an environment where everybody feels welcomed, regardless of the color of their skin, the language they speak, or the country they were born in. We have embraced these people and will continue to do so, as the Lord continues to add unto his church.

We are happy to announce that if you walk into our sanctuary on any given Sunday morning, you will see a variety of cultures worshiping with us; African Americans, Latinos, Filipino's, Pacific islanders, South and Central American's, Brazilians, Caucasians and more...

If you are interested in any further information about our ongoing spiritual activities, such as small groups, bilingual services, Christian education classes or future events, please contact us at (925) 439-3660 Ext: 103 or email us at bpatterson@pentecostales.org, and we would be happy to assist you.
